What We Do
The Mali Health Organizing Project (MHOP) seeks to improve health systems by empowering the poorest of the poor. In the slums of Bamako, we work as a catalyst to bring residents and their government together to address the most basic causes of illness and mortality. Our programs embrace innovative solutions to expand access to primary healthcare services, increase community governance, and ensure individual empowerment.
Our programs are broken
into three main categories: Health Services,
Community Government, and Women's Empowerment.
