Anna
Ninan, Executive Director Anna graduated from Brown University with degrees in International Relations, Community Health, and Africana Studies. She has worked with international development and global health initiatives in Ecuador, India, and Ethiopia. As a co-founder of Generation Citizen, she has extensive experience with youth mobilization and community organizing. |

Dr.
Diakaridia Traoré, Director of Health Programs
Dr. Traoré has worked extensively with community health worker programs across Mali. As the former Chief of Medicine in a rural Malian hospital, Dr. Traoré coordinated all health outreach activities in the region. As MHOP’s Director of Health Programs, he will oversee the Action for Health program and coordinate the management of ASACOSISOU. |

Adama
Kouyaté, Communications Coordinator As MHOP's Communications Coordinator, Adama oversees our community and cross-cultural partnerships. A recent English language graduate and Fulbright finalist, Adama also leads MHOP's community radio program, researching and co-producing Radio Sigida Joli. |

Aisata
Touré, Women's Education
Coordinator Aisata Touré is MHOP's Women's Empowerment coordinator and cheif trainer. She has been trained by the national department of languages to teach contextual literacy, and has revolutionized MHOP's women's program. |

Devon
Golaszewski, Programs Manager As MHOP's Mali Programs Manager, Devon is responsible for coordinating all of our existing and upcoming projects. She has a BA in African History from Wesleyan University, having spent a semester in Cameroon writing her honors thesis on ethnic relations. She has been in Mali since graduating in 2008 and is a recipient of the Brodigan Award for her work with MHOP. |

Alex Ruby,
Clinic Coordinator Alex recently graduated from Brown University with a degree in Neuroscience. As MHOP's Clinic Coordinator, he will organize the continued construction of the new ASACOSISOU clinic and ensure its equipment and system of accountability. He also received a Swearer International Fellowship to develop a series of radio programs on Radio Sigida Joli to promote clinic-community relations. |

Caroline
Mailloux, Volunteer Coordinator Caroline currently works in occupational and environmental public health consulting after graduating from Brown University with a degree in Development Studies. Caroline traveled to Sikoroni during summer 2008 to jumpstart a waste management program with the CHAG. She continues her service to MHOP by training new volunteers before they leave for Mali. |

Christopher
Moynihan, Web Manager Chris maintains the MHOP website and is currently collaborating with Henry Harding on the transition to a new design. Chris attends Brown University where he studies Computer Engineering. |

Julie
Siwicki, US Programs Director Julie works with our university and high school supporters. She studies International Development and Economics, and has worked in India and the US with microfinance programs. She spent the summer of 2008 working as MHOPs Microfinance intern. |

Dr. Joyce
Vining-Morgan As MHOPs Accountant and Financial Manager, Joyce is currently working at the White Mountain School. She has extensive experience in administration, college counseling, and exchange programs abroad, with a focus on Russia. |

Erica Trauba,
Co-Founder Erica is currently working for Middlebury College at their new West Coast language immersion site at Mills College in Oakland, California. In her spare time, Erica stays busy growing vegetables, swimming, and taking West African dance classes. She hopes to return to Mali in September 2009 to complete an internship at the Centre d'Etudes Keita, a partner of the Netherlands-based organization WASTE, and also to volunteer for MHOP. |

Aboubacar, Technical Consultant As the Chief Medical Officer for the Millennium Development Goals in Central and Western Africa, Dr. Aboubacar works with MHOP to develop its health financing system and expand access to primary healthcare. |

Magdalene Togo Dr. Togo was the first female Chief of Medicine for a national hospital in Mali. She is currently a member of the Ministry of Health in Mali, and is an exceptional resource about developing primary care systems. |

Abdoul
Diallo Mr. Diallo is currently the head of the West African Water Initiative for USAID. He formerly taught at the School for International Training, and he is also a member of our US board of directors. |

Saloum
Soumaré Mr. Soumaré has worked with the Program in Shared Governance (PGP) in Bamako for years, and is an expert in creating community/government accountability in Bamako. He has also worked with the Peace Corps as a language teacher. |

Yaye
Danfakha Dr. Danfakha is currently working with a UNICEF-partner program to evaluate the effectiveness of an in-home health care program for childhood respiratory infections. She is a leader in Bamako, and is married to Lanceni Balla Keita, a deputy in the national assembly. |

Kone Mr. Kone is the head of the FENASCOM (National Association of Community Clinics) for our district, and is an incredible partner in helping us develop best practices and share our innovations with clinics all over Mali. |

Caitlin
Cohen, Chair and Co-Founder At the age of 19, Caitlin moved to Sikoroni and started MHOP with $1500 in borrowed funds. She has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Jack Kente Cooke Scholarship to fund her Medical Degree and MBA in health financing. She has worked on primary care, AIDS, post-traumatic stress disorder in Rwanda, Mali, and other West Africa countries. |

Christopher Bull Chris is a Senior Research Engineer and Senior Lecturer at Brown University, and he teaches a course on technology for the developing world. He is also a faculty adviser to Engineers Without Borders. |

Lindsay
Ryan A cofounder of MHOP and secretary of the Board, Lindsay is a currently a third-year student at Harvard Medical School. She received her BA from Brown University in international development and is particularly interested in labor rights, the socioeconomic dimensions of disease, and the application of community organizing tactics to health problems. |

Tobin
Scipione Tobin is principal and owner of Scipione Consulting, which provides assistance in organizational development and management to nonprofit organizations and agencies since 1999.Tobin currently resides in Portland, Maine with her husband and son. |

Stein Michael is the founder and president of Members Only Software, Inc - a provider of software to think tanks, professional societies, YMCAs, service and advocacy groups, and trade associations. Michael is instrumental in helping MHOP manage web development and technological solutions for multi-continent communication. |

Alan
Harlam Alan is the Director of Social Entrepreneurship at Brown University and a co-founder of the Social Innovation Initiative. The Initiative involves and educates students in innovative approaches to address social inequalities. His work as a social entrepreneur and advisor at Brown has been informed by careers in consulting and managing turnarounds. He loves spending time with his wife, Bari, children Gregory, Jeremy & Sophie and his constant companion, Quick. |
