sugu sugu is a project of Mali Health.

We work with women artisans in Mali to create beautiful, natural, handmade products that support sustainable livelihoods and fund access to quality maternal and child healthcare in marginalized communities.

Every sugu sugu purchase helps women bring better health to their families and communities.

We need your help!

sugu sugu is about working with women and local partners to build livelihoods and economic solidarity in margainlized communities while generating sustainable funding for maternal and child healthcare services.

Our products will focus on Malian traditions and materials, but our cooperative partners need some extra help to get underway. They have start-up costs like buying more equipment and materials and seeking additional training to improve their skills, so they can improve the quality of their products.

We’re raising $25,000 to provide our partners with grants and loans – see here for how you can help us launch!
